The Ghana Business Coalition against HIV & AIDS held its first annual general meeting on Tuesday August 11th 2009, at the Labadi Beach Hotel, Accra.  The special guest of Honor was the Minister of Trade and Industry, Hon. Ms. Hannah Tetteh.

The agenda was to:

1.       To receive the report of the Directors, the Balance Sheet together with the Accounts and the report of the Auditors thereon for the years ended 31^st December 2007 and 31^st December 2008.

2.       To elect Directors to vacant positions.

3.       To authorize the Directors to fix the fees of the Auditors

The audited accounts were recieved and adopted.  Four new directors were appointed to replac four outgoing Directors.  They were Mr. Sanjay Rughani (Standard Chartered Bank), Dr. Henry Aidoo (Graphic Communications Group), Mr. Robert Sarpong (Electricity Company of Ghana) and Mr. Akature Ania (Accra Brewery Limited).  Benning, Annang and Partners were appointed as auditors.
